The Luckiest

So I'm pretty sure this isn't a Christian song.
But if it is, then that's so much better.
Okay so anyways i have had this song on my ipod for a long time and today i was listening to my ipod on random and this song came up just as i was thinking about what we talked about at bible study this morning.
The cool thing is (Me and my friend were talking about this last week) But anyways the cool thing about being a christian is you can take almost any song and look into it and apply it to life with God.
So what the point of this note is to look at this song, or listen to it while you read the lyrics and just think about God while you are.
Its so cool, I think about my life and relationship with God and just like my walk with Him when I'm listening to this song.
So enjoy!

The Luckiest by Ben Folds
I don't get many things right the first time
In fact, I am told that a lot
Now I know all the wrong turns, the stumbles and falls
Brought me here

And where was I before the day
That I first saw your lovely face?
Now I see it everyday
And I know

That I am
I am
I am
The luckiest

What if I'd been born fifty years before you
In a house on a street where you lived?
Maybe I'd be outside as you passed on your bike
Would I know?

And in a white sea of eyes
I see one pair that I recognize
And I know

That I am
I am
I am
The luckiest

I love you more than I have ever found a way to say to you

Next door there's an old man who lived to his nineties
And one day passed away in his sleep
And his wife; she stayed for a couple of days
And passed away

I'm sorry, I know that's a strange way to tell you that I know we belong
That I know

That I am
I am
I am
The luckiest

I love Ben Folds. He's not a Christian, but he's an amazing musician. There's this really cool verse that talks about what you said. I can't remember what it says and I can't find it. But it says something to the effect of "I can see Christ in all things because I am of Christ and Christ in in me..." It's something like that, but I can't find it.

Anyways, thought I'd share that with you.
