The Luckiest

So I'm pretty sure this isn't a Christian song.
But if it is, then that's so much better.
Okay so anyways i have had this song on my ipod for a long time and today i was listening to my ipod on random and this song came up just as i was thinking about what we talked about at bible study this morning.
The cool thing is (Me and my friend were talking about this last week) But anyways the cool thing about being a christian is you can take almost any song and look into it and apply it to life with God.
So what the point of this note is to look at this song, or listen to it while you read the lyrics and just think about God while you are.
Its so cool, I think about my life and relationship with God and just like my walk with Him when I'm listening to this song.
So enjoy!

The Luckiest by Ben Folds
I don't get many things right the first time
In fact, I am told that a lot
Now I know all the wrong turns, the stumbles and falls
Brought me here

And where was I before the day
That I first saw your lovely face?
Now I see it everyday
And I know

That I am
I am
I am
The luckiest

What if I'd been born fifty years before you
In a house on a street where you lived?
Maybe I'd be outside as you passed on your bike
Would I know?

And in a white sea of eyes
I see one pair that I recognize
And I know

That I am
I am
I am
The luckiest

I love you more than I have ever found a way to say to you

Next door there's an old man who lived to his nineties
And one day passed away in his sleep
And his wife; she stayed for a couple of days
And passed away

I'm sorry, I know that's a strange way to tell you that I know we belong
That I know

That I am
I am
I am
The luckiest

Jesus is amazing!

Holy cow!, have you looked outside recently?
Its beautiful! Yeah here its nasty gross weather all cold and sutff, but i mean just look at it!
Yeah the cars made it all brown and yucky, but its so beautiful. I could sit and look out my window and stare at it snowing for hours.
I have done it before too.
And spring is right around the corner too! Its going to take a while but im excited, to spend all day walking with my best friends, and taking walks myself taking pictures of Gods beauty and taking it all in.
I guess thats really why i love thunderstorms too. Yeah im going to get scientifical for a second, but its so amazing how God created the charges or whatever to create lighting. And making everything knowing how it would turn out. And knowing how it would all happen, just sitting and waiting for someone to come along and figure out his amazing plans.
How the all the plants and animals adapt and use His other creations to survive and live off the amazing land He gave us.
And i just love love love how where ever you go its different and beautiful in its own way. I mean have you driven down to Arizona or up to Kentucky? Its so beautiful.
And i love how every different state has something special about it that you can tell apart from the others if you really pay attnetion and watch it as it passes you by.
Okay done rambling on and done being random.
Now go outside and enjoy this beautiful life you have!
Mmmkay bye.

Ecclesiastes 3:11

11. For he has made everything beautiful in its time. He has set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

Monkey Bars.....

I have lately really been thinking hard about things and really looking into the most simplest things.
Well during worship on wed. i was thinking... and that is where this came from.

Okay so like When you were little you remember the monkey bars right?
Well I really sat and thought how these simple playground thing is just like our life and just like our walk with God.

You step up and hold on for your life. You slip a little but you keep going.
You take the steps towards the platform one hand at a time.
When you are up there your hands start to slip. So you go backwards towards your starting point.
This is Just like our lives you guys...
You are hanging in mid air and when you start to slip or fall slightly you get freaked out and go back and have to start all over again.
But like if you remember when you were little your dad would hold you up there so you would feel safe.
That is just like God...He is always holding you up there so you can feel powerful and safe and like you can do it on your own.
But when you get older You father isn't there to hold you anymore. He is just there to stand under you and catch you if you fall.
Again just like your relationship with God. when he feels your ready or old enough to try the monkey bars (life) by yourself he just stands back and is there if you need him.
But then you fall.....
Not just slipping up but actually falling on the ground.
Face First.
But the amazing thing is your Father is there to pick you up, brush you off and put you right back on the bar you fell off of.
But only if your ready to trust him and have him help you after you fell in life.
But you have to trust that He is always going to be there if you fall.
And when you feel confident enough you keep going.
One hand at a time.

What I'm saying here guys is that you are going to slip, you are going to want to go back, you are going to get scared in life.
But God is always going to be under you if and when you need him.
If your slipping, or if you actually fall.
Hes there. always.
But you need to believe in Him and have faith that even though the struggle in life to get to that platform is hard, he will always be there to catch you.
Always.
